Bits of my new home

What a grey and rainy monday it is! I'm happy I don't need to go outside much today.

I just wanted to let you see a sneak peek of my new home. You can see a bit of the bedroom in the photo above.
I will show you more as we make progress getting everything in order!
Yesterday we went out to buy a new fridge and oven. Slowly but steady we are getting things together.

I really love the new place, and haven't missed our old house for one second since we moved out!

I have my first exam of six in five days. So I probably won't be writing much until then. Please forgive me!

Moving is always a time of finding things you had long forgotten about. These I hadn't seen foor years. I used to play 'kitchenette' with them when I was a kid.
It made me smile to see them again after so long!

Today I can't seem to get started. It's already 2.30 pm and I'm nowhere.

I can't decide what to do first:
- write a paper for university
- take a bath
- read an article
- polish my nails
- put on clothes (no, i'm not naked! yes, I'm still in my nightdress)

Tomorrow will be a day of IKEA shopping.
We need:
- a new bed
- a magnet board
- a trashcan
- a mirror
and some other things for the new house.

Two months later - a new home

There is absolutely no excuse why I haven't been here for the dreadfull period of two whole months. Of course I have been doing things.

I painted my room robinsegg-blue, and I definatly love it. It's a small attic room. It feels so 19th century. I'm happy.

Since the move I feel much less stressed about everything. About university, about working about pretty much everything. About living my life as it is.

And, on the topic of losing weight: I lost 8 pounds so far, and officially I am no longer overweight! I went shopping last weekend and I could even buy one size smaller!

Now, let's try to cook dinner.
