Inspiration to write. (You can see some result of my previous writings here: http://m-silkwork.blogspot.com/2008/08/cap-of-st-birgitta-reconstructions.html

Lots of you only know me as a jeweller/photographer, but one of my main occupations is researching historical clohting and textiles.
There's so many articles still to be written...

But for now, I probably best take a deep breath, and get ready for that exam I have tomorrow.

v.tr.
1.
a. To direct or draw toward a common center; focus.
b. To bring into one main body: Authority was concentrated in the president.
2. To make (a solution or mixture) less dilute.

v.intr.
1.
a. To converge toward or meet in a common center.
b. To increase by degree; gather: "Dusk began to concentrate into full night" Anthony Hyde.
2. To direct one's thoughts or attention: We concentrated on the task before us.

Everyhting is interesting today: the children palying in the front yard on the other end of the street, the girl at the neighbours playing the piano (she's palying the same piece over and over again, over and over, over and over), the teabag in the emptied teacup that's still on the table since breakfast, the food in the fridge (some of it is actually growing new life on it), ...
Everything except the things I really HAVE to be working on.

That's what a couple of sleepless nights do with a human being.

New studio - progress

New studio, originally uploaded by paper-flower-girl.

Last weekend Mr. B. and I went out to the DIY-store to buy screws etc. to fix the shelving and other interesting things to the walls in my new studio space.

It is starting to look like a proper room now, instead of a store room!
I will need to fix some nice curtains and tablecloths soon and add some finishing touches, and then it will be ready!
