A little drawing for a little note for a creative person :)
Today I had the pleasure of meeting my blog reader Tor in person! I went to the Gent central station to hand over her giveaway package and afterwards we went for a cup of tea and chatted about creative life, playing music and dancing ballet, about craft workshops in our town and about etsy and selling, about our studies and the future.
On the way home if took some photo's of some of the amazing houses in my neighborhood. See and be delighted.

1. Organizing drawers with tea boxes. I nearly threw all the boxes away, but then I got this luminous idea.
2. Making a mood board. Is great fun. And it helps me focus on a theme with my jewelry designs.
The cleaning of the studio continues. I'll show you some progress later this week.
I'm also trying to clean some other things. One of them being my mobile phone bill. It has grown to enormous heights. And this off course, can't be. It's easy to spend a lot of money on phone traffic when you have a foreign boyfriend. But... I just can't spare the money. So, my intention is to not call him again by phone. We'll have to use skype instead.
November is really flying by! How quick time goes when you're not paying attention!!!
I had a very busy but lovely weekend, with lots of snow! I even went for a little bike ride yesterday night trough the snow, which was lovely.
Today was:
1. Getting up to late ans hurry to be in class in time
2. Buy new cigarettes since I forgot mine at home
3. Eat an improvised lunch consisting of an apple, dried mango and cashew nuts
4. Meet up with friends for a cup of hot tea
5. Make pendants for new necklaces
6. List new things in the shop
7. Eat diner (white carrots, pork sausage and fried egg plant)
8. Bring back a DVD to the library
9. Send out and reply to emails
10. Visiting a friend in town

Today =
1. Rainy
2. Talking to Ms. L. after class and drinking a beer
3. Finally going to the post office
4. Trying some new things (see photo)
5. Making a walk
6. Cooking a meal (baked apples and rabbits with mustard sauce)
7. Cleaning the bathroom
8. Sorting out yarns and putting them into baskets
9. Dreaming and drawing on class notes
10. Welcoming my guests from Holland.

SO.
i did two things today:
1. organize all my reciepts and expenses for my shop in a file case. i had this file case nearly as long as i can remember. i used to use it for storing articles and bits and pieces i thought were interesting as a kid. i liked it because file cases are such a grown up kind of thing. it made me feel serious and important and very intellegent to do so, in a very child-like way.
2. i took four big ikea storage boxes out of the closet and put them on top. they have been in the closet for nearly 6 months now, and two of them we even still empty (talking of wasting space!). on top of the closet there was an ugly carboard bow which help my padden envelops and shipping boxes. those are now transferred to the much lovelier ikea cases.
i feel much more happy already!
and now, my actual list for today:
1. have lunch (i totally forgot to do that earlier this afternoon)
2. photograph postcards
3. list items on etsy
4. continue writing my paper for uni
7. go to my yoga lesson
6. go to post office (because i didn't do that yesterday)
7. upload new items to papernstitch (idem)

I'm stuck in Holland. Due to a fire between Rotterdam and Antwerp there are no trains home today.
I made these a long time ago, but i have never really succeeded in making them 'fit' in my shop.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was fantastic.
It has been a long time I have taken so much pleasure in doing domestic tasks like grocery shopping, cooking, ... All of a sudden I had this flow of energy.
It is also the first time I can remember I am thoroughly enjoying the beginning of Winter sneaking in. Somehow the air smells more fresh and the world seems more idle. As if it was a dream.
