CALL FOR MODELS

I am currently looking for more models to model my jewelry. I am looking for young girls and women, between 18-28 years old. Size doesn't matter. It's a plus if you live in or near Gent or are able to travel to Gent. Experience isn't required, but you need to have the guts to model for a photoshoot in public space.

As for clothes it would be great if you could bring along some of your own, that we can mix up with pieces from my own (vintage) clothing and accessories. I am currently looking for a tom-boy look for my jewelry photography.

I can not pay you for it, but after the shoot I will send you a disc with your photo's on it.

Angry? I think furious would be a far better description of my current mood.
And dissapointed. Heavily dissapointed in the generation of +65.

Since when has the handbag of an old lady more right on a seat on the bus than me? Since when is there a reason to be very unfriendly to a young woman who politely asks: "Excuse me madam, could I sit here, please?"

And then they expect us, the youth of today, to be respectfull, polite and understanding. To stand up for them on a full tram, bus or train, to help them accross the street or support them when they have to go down the stairs?

For Christ's sake. THINK!

Hello dear friends!
I am aware of the fact it's been a while I have actually written something here longer than just one sentence accompanying another of my moodboards.
I have no excuses really other then that I have been really busy with everything else but my jewelry. Ok, that is not the whole truth, I have been thinking about what to do next a lot, but I haven't really actually done anything. But then maybe, creator's blocks can be usefull to. It's always refreshing to then look to your own work with fresh eyes again.

However, my big news of today it that a handmade fashion photoshoot I have been working on in the past weeks is now published online! I have been so exited about this (I still am!), but I wanted to keep it as a surprise untill the magazine was out.
I find I really enjoy styling work. Maybe I might do something with that in the future. Who knows?
