Excavating

This is where I work. For an outsider I may seem odd and maybe ridiculous to just remove a pile of sand from some leftovers of 17th century structures...
Most archaeologists are crazy anyway.

Yet is keeps surprising me what you CAN still find after 300 years. We found parts of rooms and staircases that were perfectly conserved. A town like Antwerp must be full of subterranian rooms everywhere.

Hi! Thanks for commenting on my blog! I'm an Ethnologist so your work doesn't seem that strange to me :) And I've been to Antwerp. I looked after children in Brussels 10+ years ago.
