Leiden
Yesterday Bertus and me went to Leiden, to get some books from the university library there and visit an exhibition about the jewellery of old cultures (Egyptian, Roman, Medieval, ...).
Here are some of my favorite pieces. They aren't all that sharp...
It is amazing to see how timeless all these pieces are.

Yes! It was my favorite piece from the exhibition.
It's a greek headband that was found in a grave.

when I was traveling around the Netherlands a few years back I remember how lovely and serene Leiden was...thank you for sharing these photos.
